The Eternal Struggle: Why People Fight Over God and Religion

Why do people fight for god and religion? The innate desire for supremacy, rooted in every human soul, often leads to the pervasive theme of dominance and subjugation. This same desire for domination manifests itself in religious conflicts, where different groups fight not just for land or resources, but for the very essence of belief.

The Inherent Desire for Supremacy

Our societies are built on the principles that one perspective is better than another, even if it is merely implied. This superiority complex is a fundamental aspect of human nature, leading to constant battles to assert one's beliefs and values over others. This struggle is a universal phenomenon, but it finds its most intense form in religious conflicts. Whether through verbal or physical means, the tendency to impose one's views on others ultimately leads to chaos and conflict.

Confusion Amongst the Divine

Imagine the divine perspective of a higher being, the Creator, looking down on His creations. A deity who sees the constant striving of His children for dominance and destruction of peace. "What is this foolishness?" a divine being might ask, wondering over the destruction of peace and the proliferation of chaos caused by their followers.

While God may be perplexed by such behavior, it is a stark reality that even the most sacred beliefs can be misunderstood or misused. God’s creation should be a harmonious and peaceful world, not one torn apart by conflict and rivalry. The question remains, why must religious conflicts persist?

Is Islam the Exception?

Many argue that not all religious people engage in conflict under the guise of their faith, but the case of Islam is often brought to the forefront. According to some interpretations, the Quran teaches violence and hatred, leading some Muslims to believe that the entire world must follow their teachings. This creates a spiral of further conflict and misunderstanding.

Is it possible for Muslims to achieve their desires? In my opinion, no. Instead, history shows that all other religions, such as Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Sikhism, and Zoroastrianism, have managed to rise above their differences and crush those who promote such conflict. The aspirations of Muslims, like any other religious group, will fade into obscurity as more rational and peaceful societies continue to flourish.

Global Headlines Need to Address This Issue

It is essential for news agencies worldwide to address the fundamental issue of religious conflicts. Importantly, the very nature of religion can lead to the creation of specific laws and texts that can be used to justify hostility toward those who do not conform to the established norms. This creates a stark dichotomy: those who follow the ultimate law are seen as allies, while those who do not are labeled as enemies, often with dire consequences.

A New Order of Faith

Given the interconnectedness of the world today, the time is ripe for a new order of faith. We now have the means to understand and communicate with each other in ways previously unimaginable. The ability to breathe the same air and share the same planet is a reminder that our differences are not insurmountable.

Would it be so hard to accept a message from God? According to ancient teachings, no one has ever seen God, but people have seen and believed in his messengers. Isn’t it time to believe in a new messenger and unite as one?

Amidst the chaos and confusion, a new order of faith can provide a beacon of hope. Let us embrace unity and work towards a world where peace and understanding prevail over the supremacy and chaos caused by conflict.
