Current Rohtang Pass Status
The present status of the Rohtang Pass is open from both Manali and Keylong sides. It was declared open last week, allowing civilian traffic to cross the pass. The road was temporarily blocked on Sunday morning due to a massive landslide between Manali and Rohtang Pass, causing significant delays and stranded vehicles. The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has deployed machinery to clear the route. While no untoward incidents were reported, vehicle movement was significantly lower due to the ongoing lockdown to control the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.
